Next up in this showcase of Bristol art talent: it’s Harriet Lee-Merrion.
Harriet did a great job illustrating the toad haiku in my Feathers & Fur series. What I’ve loved about seeing the artwork come together for each poem is that they are all so different. This one, I think, with the feet treading past the crouching toad, is quite mysterious.
One of her recent projects was a collaboration with poet Anna Kiernan on this chapbook, called Pick Me Up.

Her print is for sale at the exhibition at Grain Barge – on display now and until October 11 – but if you’re not in Bristol you can buy it online in my Etsy shop. The exhibition will move to The Snug at The Tobacco Factory from November 3 to December 29.
