I woke up to the first day of February and some amazing news – If I Die Before I Wake was an Amazon bestseller!
With a great deal running at the moment – the e-book is 99p on Amazon – the sales of the book have had a really good week, and it peaked at number four in the Amazon fiction chart. It was also number one in the Kindle crime thrillers chart for a while.
Meanwhile, I went onto BCfm – a community radio station based in my home city of Bristol – to chat about the book with the One Love Breakfast team. They threw an interview question at me which I haven’t had before – asking me to request a track to play – but I don’t think I embarassed myself too much with my choice (Kiss by Prince – a classic, yes?).
I was sent the cover design for the Dutch translation of the book, which is out this month! Read more about that here.
I also had a little trip to London to sign copies of If I Die Before I Wake at the beautiful Goldsboro Books. You can order one of these signed copies through their website. While I was in that part of the world I joined the Chorleywood Bookshop‘s crime book club to talk to them about their January book of the month, which was… yep, you guessed it!
Thank you to everyone who has continued to send me photos of the book in the wild – whether it is of you reading it, or it on the shelves. These pics are of If I Die Before I Wake being read in Nairobi, and also on the shelves at Foyles in Charing Cross and at a bookshop in Durham.
