Day five of #meettheauthor is the favourite line I’ve written.
I’m going to go with this bit of my next novel Keep Him Close – it’s the last line I love but I’ve thrown in the rest for free!

Today’s #meettheauthor is about my writing routine.
I’m on a kind of maternity leave at the moment so not writing very much if at all. And my routine is not very regimented even when I am working!
Day three of #meettheauthor is all about your proudest writing achievement.
There’s been a few… leaving a very good job to pursue this dream, getting my awesome agent, being shortlisted for awards with If I Die Before I Wake and being chosen as Waterstones’ Thriller of the Month back in March.
