Brain food! Day nine of #meettheauthor is what I eat and drink while I write.
I don’t drink coffee and gave up caffeinated tea when I was first pregnant (and haven’t missed it) so I drink decaf earl grey tea or peppermint tea normally.
If I’m at a cafe I can’t resist a pastry but if I’m at home I normally snack on banana or apple with almond butter. And the odd slice of toast!
Right now, however, I’m not writing. I’m breastfeeding and sleep-deprived and I’m eating ALL THE CARBS and multiple cake and chocolate options. So this banana will probably stay in the fruit bowl uneaten.
