Meet the author day one: Where I work

I'm doing something over on Instagram (find my account here) called #meettheauthor and I thought I'd bring it on over to my website too.Authors are posting images to fit with a theme each day. Day one was where do you write?This is my little desk in our living room... I love this space but you'll see from the second photo there's often a lot of toys strewn around the place too!I wrote most of If I Die Before I Wake at cafes but Keep Him Close was mostly written at this desk because I did most of my work while my daughter was sleeping. Even on days when she was in childcare the time was so limited I felt it was more efficient to stay at home.
