Where to buy Emily Koch books in the UK
If you’ve landed here, chances are you’re trying to track down one of my novels - If I Die Before I Wake, Keep Him Close, or What July Knew. First of all: thank you.
There are a few different ways to get hold of my books in the UK, and where you choose to buy them can make a real difference - not just to me, but to the wider book world too.
Here’s a straightforward guide.
Independent bookshops
If you want my honest opinion: buy from an independent bookshop if you can.
Shops like Bookshop.org, Hive, or your local indie store help keep the UK’s reading ecosystem alive. Many of them can order in any of my titles if they’re not on the shelves. Find your closest bookseller here.
Also, if you walk in and ask for one of my books, that matters more for me than you’d think.
High street bookshops
You’ll usually find my books (or be able to order them) through major UK retailers like Waterstones, Foyles, or Hatchards.
They stock a wide range of formats - paperback, ebook, audiobook - and often have quick delivery or click-and-collect options.
If you prefer browsing in person, this is your best bet.
Online retailers (quickest and easiest)
If convenience is the priority, online retailers like Amazon will have all three novels available in multiple formats - often with next-day delivery.
You can also get your Kindle version this way, or the audiobooks.
Libraries (the underrated option)
If you’d rather not buy, don’t forget your local library. Many UK libraries stock my books, and if they don’t, you can usually request them.
It’s one of the most overlooked ways to discover authors - and it still supports us. Did you know I get about 11 pence for every library loan of one of my books?
A quick note on formats
All three of my novels are available in:
Paperback
Ebook
Audiobook
So whether you’re a physical-book purist or someone who reads on a phone at 2am, we’ve got you covered.
Not sure where to start?
